Max Hops
Enter the maximum number (value) of hops to allow.
The range is from 6 to 40 (hops). By default, the value is
equal to 20 (hops). Use the value to configure the
number of hops between devices existing in a domain
of a spanning tree before removing BPDU packets,
which are transmitted by a switch. Hop-counting
decreases one by one every time a switch passes until
the value reaches 0. After that, the switch deletes the
BDPU packets, and then the information (or data)
retained in the port ages out.
