Configuring the RGN-3GSF using the ONM and OSM
This section provides the ONM (Optelian Network Manager) and OSM (Optelian Shelf Manager)
configuration details specific to RGN-3GSF card. The ONM screens are shown in this section, but
configuring the card using either management interface is identical. For general information about using the
ONM, refer to the Optelian
Network Manager User Guide
(document number 3007-9900).
This section provides the following card configuration procedures:

“Configure card advanced parameters” on page 21
After completing a configuration setting, click on the
Apply
button to implement the configuration. To
review new settings after they have been applied, click the Refresh button. To save the configuration settings
so that they remain in effect after a restart, click on the
Save Config
button.
View card inventory
1.
In the shelf view of the ONM or OSM, double-click the card, or right-click the card and choose
Card
Config
from the drop-down menu.

In the Configuration for Device screen, click the RGN-3GSF button, then click the
Inventory
tab to
access the following information:
•
serial number
•
manufacturer
•
model
•
part number
•
manufacturing date
•
release string

Click
Close
