When power is applied and the card is operating normally, the configuration display is on, then off after
the timeout period.
Removing the card and modules
WARNING:
Removing an SFP from a powered card will disrupt traffic flowing through that SFP
module.
1.
Disconnect all patchcords and remove each SFP as follows:
a.
Open the release latch to disconnect the SFP, and eject it partially out of the port.
b.
Grasp the SFP with your fingers, and gently remove the SFP from the port.
c.
Close the release latch and place the module on a clean, flat surface.
WARNING:
The card can be removed from a powered shelf with no impact on the other cards in the
shelf; however, traffic on the RGN-3GSF card will be affected.
2.
Pull firmly on the latches and ensure they are in the open position.
