RF Tag Travel Speed
The RF Tag travel speed can be calculated using the following formula.
The communications time is given in the graphs on the previous page. The travel distance in the
interrogation zone depends on the Antenna and the RF Tag. Refer to the user manual for the Antenna
and RF Tag.
• The travel speed will change with the communications range and axis displacement. We recommend using the widest
part of the area.
• The above calculation formula is provided only as a guideline. Perform tests with the actual system before application.
• Communications error processing is not included in the above calculation formula.
