Clearing characters from the screen (“F1”)
This operation clears and redisplays the text information such as patient data on
the monitor screen.
Part of the patient data disappears from the monitor screen each time the “F1”
key is pressed. The fourth press redisplays the initial display showing all patient
data (see Figure 5.20 for the transition of the display).

• The zoom ratio of the image except “x1.0” is always
displayed on the monitor even when the text information is
cleared.
• Only when all text data are displayed on the monitor, the
patient data can be entered.
• The image size and layout may differ from those shown in
Figure 5.20 depending on the connected endoscope.
• The patient data can also be cleared using the scope
switches and/or foot switches. For how to set up the scope
switches and foot switches, see “Remote switch and foot
switch (EXERA and VISERA)” on page 219.
