Image files and folders
The data files of the endoscopic images are stored in the image folder, which is
generated by the video system center, on the PC card.
Files
The video system center numbers the endoscopic image files sequentially. The
names of each image file becomes like the following, and is numbered
sequentially in order of photographing.
• OLYMnnnn.jpg:
(“nnnn” is a four-digit number.)
Folders
The folder in which image files are stored either newly generated or previously
generated ones are used according to the conditions such as turning ON or OFF
the system, with or without the patient ID, etc. (see Table 5.11). The folder
names are as follows.
• When the patient ID was entered: “8-digit date” + “max.15-digit patient
ID”
ex. 20050512 ABC123 (“2005, May, 12th” and “ABC123”)
• When no patient ID was entered: “8-digit date” + “15-digit X”
ex. 20050512 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
