EVIS EXERA II VIDEO SYSTEM CENTER CV-180
 Other than CLV-180 in AUTO mode
The operation differs depending on the setting of the electronic shutter function
of the endoscope (refer to “Electronic shutter” on page 240).
When the electronic shutter function is ON:
1.
Set the brightness level of the light source to the center of the adjustable
range.
2.
Set the brightness using the “EXPOSURE” buttons on the front panel of the
video system center. The brightness level is displayed on the “EXPOSURE”
indicator.
When the brightness level of the light source is not in the
center of the adjustable range, intense light, which is not
recognized clearly, may cause burns and/or appropriate
brightness may not be obtained.
When the electronic shutter function is OFF:
Set the brightness as required, using the brightness adjustment buttons of the
light source. The brightness level is displayed on the light source.
The “EXPOSURE” buttons of the video system center is
invalid, and the “EXPOSURE” indicator goes OFF.

Other than CLV-180 in MANUAL mode
Never set the electronic shutter function to ON in the user
preset menu (refer to “Electronic shutter” on page 240).
Intense light, which is not recognized clearly, may cause
burns.
Set the brightness as required, using the brightness adjustment buttons of the
light source. The brightness level is displayed on the light source.
The “EXPOSURE” buttons of the video system center is
invalid, and the “EXPOSURE” indicator goes OFF.
