Getting started
■ Estimate internal battery charging time
• For estimate of charging time, see "Main specifications" (P.175).
Charging with the AC adapter
Charging using AC Adapter 07 (sold separately) is explained here.
AC adapter
Type-C plug

Insert the Type-C plug of AC adapter horizontally into the
USB Type-C connection jack of the terminal

Turn up and insert the power plug of AC adapter to the
outlet

When charging is completed, pull out the power plug of AC
adapter from the outlet

Pull out the Type-C plug of AC adapter from the terminal
horizontally
Charging with the DC adapter
The DC adapter 05 (sold separately) supplies power to charge this
terminal through a accessory socket (12 V/24 V) in a vehicle.
When using DC Adapter 05, USB cable A to C 01 (sold separately) is
required.
For details, refer to manuals of DC Adapter and USB cable A to C.
Charging with wireless charger
If you charge the terminal with Galaxy genuine wireless charger (sold
separately), refer to the instruction manual that is bundled with the
product.
For details of Galaxy genuine wireless charger, see Galaxy's website.
• Products with mark conform with wireless power standard of Wireless
Power Consortium (WPC).
Precautions for when using a wireless charger to charge the
terminal
• If you have placed the terminal in a cover, remove the cover.
• When charging, make sure that vibrate mode is turned off. If the terminal
vibrates, it may not fully charge or fall off the wireless charger.
• The terminal may receive interference from a radio or TV, so charge the
terminal as far away from a radio or TV as possible.
• Make sure that the terminal is more than 30 cm away from other devices
that are compatible with wireless charging. If you fail to do so, the
terminal may not be detected correctly and may not be able to charge.
• While charging with a wireless charger, it may be difficult to watch TV
or receive content. If you want to watch TV or receive content while
charging, please use the AC adapter. Also keep the terminal as far away
from the AC adapter's power plug as possible.
• If the terminal becomes hot, charging speed may decrease or stop.
• If you play games, watch movies, or use any functions that consume a
large amount of power, charging may stop.
Charging with USB cable A to C
You can charge the terminal with a PC by connecting it to a PC using a
USB cable A to C 01 (sold separately).
• For connection to a PC, see "Connecting with USB cable A to C" (P.157).
• When you perform USB connection with a PC, popup screen may appear
on the PC. If you just want to charge the terminal without synchronizing
to the PC, select " キャンセル (Cancel)".
• Depending on the terminal condition, it may take time for charging, or
may not be charged.
When the battery is almost exhausted
Notification tone sounds, a message prompting to charge appears and
the display dims. When the battery is exhausted, the power of the terminal
automatically turns off. Depending on the function or app, a message
indicating low battery may appear when you try to activate them and they
may not be activated.
