Contents/Precautions

Draining water

When the terminal is wet, water may flow out after wiping it off; drain the

water in the following steps.

■ Draining water of the terminal

Hold the terminal firmly and wipe off moisture on the terminal surface

and back side with dry, clean cloth etc.

Shake the terminal approximately 20 times, firmly holding it, until

there is no more water splattering.

Swing the terminal about 10 times against a dry, clean cloth etc.

to wipe off water remaining in the headphone connection jack,

mouthpiece/microphone, receiver/speaker, S Pen slot, speaker, USB

Type-C connection jack, keys etc.

Wipe off water drained from the terminal with dry, clean cloth etc., and

dry naturally.

• Water, if any, remaining in the terminal may ooze up after wiping off.

• Do not wipe off water remaining in gaps directly with a cotton swab etc.

■ Draining water of S Pen

Turn the pen button downwards and vertically shake it gently about

10 times.

Wipe off water drained from S Pen with dry, clean cloth etc., and dry

naturally.

• Water, if any, remaining in S Pen may ooze up after wiping off.

• Do not wipe off water remaining in gaps directly with a cotton swab etc.
