Do not apply a
Laser Enable signal until the OEM v30’s in5 VDC power supply has stabilized
(approximately 200 ms after DC power-up).
Figure below shows a method for applying a Laser Enable signal to the RJ45 Interface B connector. In
this case, the customer must also supply the +5V voltage necessary to drive the circuit.
