Manually Delete Backup Sets 

It is not recommended that you manually delete the backup sets. Only in the event that low disk 
space is preventing backup that you use the following procedures to remove Backup sets: 

1.  To manually delete backup sets, go to C:\HM\Backup (default) or to the destination path that 

you selected during the backup process. 

2.  The backup sets are saved in folders that represent the backup date.  

3.  Delete the folder with the backup date that you do not require. 

 

Configuring Auto-Backup Time 

1.  The Auto-Backup time is configurable from the 

Backup.INI

 file. This file is located at 

C:\HM\system.  

2.  Open the Backup.INI file using a text editor, for example Notepad. Ensure that the backup 

module is not running before editing this file. 

3.  To configure or change the default auto-backup time, amend the following parameter: 

TIME=02:30 

 

Note: 

Backups should always be scheduled for off-peak hours. Running a backup during 

business hours could impact voice processing. 

4.  Save the file and the settings will take effect immediately. 

Restoring the System 

This function enables saved data to be restored in the event of hard disk failure or data corruption.
