 2006 

A user has to Log In first before the manual posting selections can be accessed. By default, the ‘Post to 
Pabx’ option is activated. This means, any postings made from this menu will also be sent to the switch 
on top of updating the HMS400 database. Manual posting is done when the link between the HMS400 
and the Hotel PMS is down. 

 
 
 
 

For Check In, only the Room Number and Guest Name are compulsory fields whereas only the Room 
Number is required for Check Out. 

Note:

 

If a room has multiple extensions, each of those extensions needs to be separately checked-in 

as well as out. Otherwise, the COS for those extensions will remain unchanged and it is possible that 
no outgoing calls can be made. In addition, the sets will not have a name attached to them.
