With the Hand/Off/Auto switch set to “Auto” and the reclaim unit in
recirculation mode, the ball valve status indicator, located on the stem
of the blue valve assembly, should be “Red”. When a wash activation
signal occurs, the solenoid will energize causing the ball valve to rotate
and a give a “Green” indication at the status indicator.
Task # 9:
Clean Oxygen Concentrator and Ozone Generator Filters
Ozone Generator Filter
With the power on and the system operating in Auto:
Remove the air filters on the oxygen concentrator and ozone generator.

To remove the filter from the ozone unit, first remove the outer filter
housing to expose the filter for removal. Do not reach into fan.
o
The filter for the oxygen unit can be removed by gently pulling the
filter element from the side of the oxygen generator.
Shake the filters or use dry air to blow the dirt out of the filters. If needed,
the filters can be washed with mild detergent and water, but need to be
completely dry before reinstalling.
Reinstall the filters.
If either filter element becomes frayed or damaged, replace immediately.
Contact Pur-Water for a replacement.
DISREGARDING MAINTENANCE OF
THESE FILTERS WILL RESULT IN EQUIPMENT OVERHEATING AND
POSSIBLE FAILURE.
