Task # 12:
Inspect the Oxygen Concentrator Internals
With the power on and the system operating in Auto:

Remove the front cover of the oxygen concentrator.

Check that the compressor fan blades are turning.

Check that the indicator lights on the circuit board are going through
their sequence.

Check the sieve bed pressure gauge. The gauge will have a high
range of 32-34 psig and a low range of 14-16 psig. If the high range
is above 32-34 psig, contact PurWater for assistance.

Check the run hours. Most systems will need service after 16,000 –
19,000 hours (22 – 26 months) of continual service. Contact Pur-
Water regarding our oxygen concentrator re-build program.

Check that the Exhaust Fan is operating.

Clean away any excessive dirt build-up.

Replace the front cover.
