Reviewing System Features 1-21

NEC OS Restore CD

In the event of operating system problems, you can restore
your operating system using the NEC OS Restore CD. The
NEC OS Restore program on the CD performs a complete
restore of the operating system. It also provides options for
reformatting and repartitioning the hard drive. In addition, the
program automatically determines which drivers are needed
for your original hardware configuration and installs them
during the restore.

NEC Application and Driver CD

Install or reinstall any of the applications and drivers
provided by NEC CSD from the NEC Application and Driver
CD.

Each item on the NEC Application and Driver CD is
selectable from a straightforward graphical interface. Clear
menu descriptions and the help screens guide you through
each step.

The following applications and utilities are provided on the
NEC Application and Driver CD:

Microsoft Internet Explorer

®

Internet Explorer provides a top-notch browser with
preloaded links for easy access to the world wide web.
Also use Internet Explorer to access one of the many new
browser-based utilities. Internet access requires a network
