16. After the system reboot, confirm that the System FT LED at the front of the server lights.
Note
If disk duplexing is in progress after the ESXi host starts up, the System FT LED does not
turn ON. Wait for a while until the disk duplexing is completed.
Tips
When installing ft control software to an internal hard disk drive, the PRIMARY LED of
the CPU/IO module 0 is switched to the CPU/IO module 1 and datastore name of the
internal hard disk drive is renamed from datasotre1 to datastore2 after the system
restart.
When installing ft control software to an external storage, switching of the PRIMARY
LED of the CPU/IO module and renaming of datastore name do not occur.
