Chapter 1 Installing Operating System

Configuring VMware ESXi

When LAN cables of the CPU/IO module 0 and 1 are removed, connect both of them.

Connect LAN cables to Port #1 connectors (1Gigabit) on CPU/IO modules 0 and 1. (At installation, the standard
switch (vSwitch0) is created on this connector.)

When the installed VMware ESXi boots, press

F2

and log in to the system as a root user.

On the System Customization menu, configure each item as shown below.
