You can configure the DNS server after completion of installation.
10. Input the host name or IP address of the ESXi host, and press the <Enter> key. Input the root password
of the ESXi host, and press the <Enter> key.

Note
The result of the task may be displayed as failed on the host client as shown below. You
can ignore this because it does not affect operation.
11. The confirmation message appears. Input “Y”.

13. The following message appears, and the installation starts. (The message may be partially different
depending on your environment.)

14. As the installation is finishing, the confirmation message for restarting appears. Input “Y”. Check that the
ESXi host has shut down, and remove the ft control software installation DVD.
A host reboot is required to place these updates into service.

15. The system reboots, and the module registration for ft server and disk duplication are performed. These
processes take several tens of minutes.
Note
The time required for completing the duplication varies depending on the disk space.
The system will reboot twice if ft control software is installed in internal hard disk drive.
The disk duplication is not performed if FT control software is installed in an external
storage.
