Clearing a password

1. Turn off the server, and disconnect the AC power cord from power supply units.

Chapter 2 (1. Installing Internal Optional Devices)

User’s Guide

to remove server module.

2. Confirm the position of Clear Password Jumper.
3. Change the jumper switch from

Default

Clear

4. Reassemble the server and turn on the server.

5. POST halts with the following error message.

ERROR

8007: Password Cleared By Jumper.

Press<F1> to resume, <F2> to Setup

6. Turn off the power and return the jumper switch to

Default

by following steps 1 to 3.

7. Reassemble the server.
