VERITAS VOLUME MANAGER

Installing Volume Manager for Windows 2000

In the NEC Express5800/ft series, since VERITAS Volume Manager is indispensable, it needs to be
installed.

VERITAS Volume Manager offers the comprehensive solution in storage management.

Local and remote storages connected to the system can be configured and managed online.

Installation Procedures

Insert the "NEC EXPRESSBUILDER"
CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

The autorun function has the Master Control
Menu of NEC EXPRESSBUILDER displayed
automatically.

Select [Setup] and click [VERITAS Volume
Manager]. Then the installer will start.

When the installation wizard screen appears, click [Next] to start the installation.

Click [Yes] when the [Question] dialog box appears.
