Procedures after Completion of Installation

Then make the following settings.

Connections and settings of several option devices

If there are optional PCI boards and/or peripherals to be connected, turn off the power of
the server and connect them referring to "Setup of Optional PCI Module" in Chapter 8 and
the operation manuals of the peripheral devices. Set dual configurations after the LAN
cards and hard disk drives are added. See "Setting Dual LAN Configuration" and
"Mirroring the Volume with Volume Manager for Windows 2000" in Chapter 3.

Changes to BIOS settings

After completing the installation, start the BIOS setup utility to set [Boot Monitoring] of
[Advanced] - [Monitoring Configuration] to [Enable], save the settings, and restart the
NEC Express5800/ft series. See Chapter 4 for details.
