4.7.3 Placement of the roll media
The procedure for installing roll media to the printer is explained below.
To install roll media, use the scroller that comes with your printer.
Notes :
The following roll media can be attached to the scroller supplied with this unit.
•
Media tube: diameter 3 inches, length 1626mm (64.0in.) or less
•
Width: 1626mm (64in.) or less
•
External diameter: 250mm (9.8in.) or less
•
Weight: 100kg (220Lbs.) or less
Problems that occur due to usage of media such as printable side with inside are not
guaranteed.
To install roll media, follow the steps below.
Step 1 :
Using the attached hexagon wrench, loosen the two screws for the flange on the opposite side of
the positioning ring, and remove the flange from the scroller.

To load roll media, follow the steps below.
Notes :
Set the roll media on a flat surface, such as on a desk.
a. When using roll media of which the printable side is outside:
Insert the flange into the roll media. Note that the end of media is on the left side, viewed
from the positioning ring side.
