6.4 LONG-TERM STORAGE CLEANING

The period for performing cleaning for long-term storage, and its procedures are described below.

(1) Cleaning Period

When not using the unit for over 2 weeks, perform cleaning for long term storage.

(2) Operational procedure

Perform cleaning for long-term storage according to the following procedure.

Caution :

When performing cleaning for long-term storage, always wear the protective glove
supplied with the unit.

The ink and jetwash liquid are hazardous. If skin contact occurs, wash with soap water
and rinse well.

Step 1 :

Remove the screws for the valve cover (2 screws) and remove the valve cover.
