Step 10 :

The printer starts the print head cleaning.

The following message is displayed on the operation panel

Note :

When pushing [CANCEL] key during washing the print head,

•

Washing print head is performed within twice: After finishing washing the

print head twice, and shift to Step 11.

•

Washing print head is performed over 3 times : After finishing the print

head washing, shift to Step 11

Step 11 :

The product starts injecting the jet wash fluid to the sub tank

•

The following message is displayed on the operation panel

Note :

If [CANCEL] key is pushed while injecting the jet wash fluid when [ALL] is selected in the
head wash menu, print head washing is performed twice individually for each colour in
order.

Step 12 :

After completed the injection of the jet wash fluid, the following message is displayed on the
operation panel.

Note :

In the [****] part of the message, the colour of the 3-way valve to be operated will be
displayed.

Step 13 :

Switch the 3-way valve to the ink side.
