Maintenance work
Before operating the tool, the following maintenance work must be carried out each time to ensure
that the tool works properly. If damage is detected during maintenance the tool must no longer be
used and has to be sent for repair to the manufacturer.
Check the following each time before use:
Heating press for cleanliness and damage
Connectors and cable for damage
Heating plates for cleanliness (if necessary, remove them)
Screws for properly sitting
Membrane keyboard and display for damage
Check after having used several times:
Condition of the press
In making one (or several) test splices.
Level of air pressure (surface pressure)
Observe the indications appearing on the display.
Lubricate with grease setting screw, clamping bracket and screws of the hold-down bars, if
necessary.
Check every twelve months:
According to the VDE guideline 0701/0702 electrical tools must be checked once every twelve
months on site or according to local regulations in each country.

7.1
Spare parts
In our scope of delivery we do provide a warranty of 12 months from the date of delivery.
Note:
Repair works on the device may only be effected by the manufacturer and in using the required
appropriate tools and equipment,
Warranty voids as soon as the device is opened or repaired by the customer.
7.2
Wear parts
Materials and parts that are enumerated in the technical instructions as wear parts are excluded
from the guarantee. The term mentioned above is a limitation period.
