Set temperature of heating plate 1 (top)
This function is used to adjust the set temperature of heating plate 1. The valid input range is be-
tween 50°C and 210°C. The value input is done using numerical keys. Input entries are to be done
where the screen flashes.
The set-up function is exited by pressing (ESC) or (OK).
Set temperature of heating plate 2 (bot)
This function is used to adjust the set temperature of heating plate 2. The valid input range is be-
tween 50°C and 210°C. The value input is done using numerical keys. Input entries are to be done
where the screen flashes.
The set-up function is exited by pressing (ESC) or (OK).
Cooling temperature
This function is used to set the final temperature of the pressing process after expiry of the hold-
down time, from which the cooling circuit is shut down if the press-type set supports a cooling. The
valid range is between 0°C and 150°C. The value input is done using numerical keys. Input entries
are to be done where the screen flashes.
If the input 0°C is entered, the press process stops independently of the set press type entered im-
mediately upon expiry of the hold-down time without performing a cooling process.
The set-up function is exited by pressing (ESC) or (OK). The value of the cooling temperature is
saved in the non-volatile memory of the HPS 2 and is also unchanged after restarting the unit.
Set-up of the hold-down time
The set-up menu is opened by pressing key ( ).
This function is used to set the duration of the press process, i.e. the period during which the set
temperature of both heating plates is reached until activation of the cooling process.
The valid setup range is between 0 seconds and 3600 seconds in 1-second increments.
The set-up function is exited by pressing (ESC) or (OK).
