The analogue signals can be accepted directly on the rack at the terminals of a MAT module
plugged into the rear of the rack.

For remote connection with rail mounting installation, the MAT TS module (conductor cross
section, 0.2–1.5 mm
2
) or the MGT40 TS module (conductor cross section, 0.2–2.5 mm
2
) is
provided, which are connected to the MAO module by a 40-way ribbon cable and the MUT
module.
The cables must be screened (Chapter 12.2 "Installation Instructions for Following the EMC Direc-
tives").
An external device with voltage input (e.g. recorder, PC with a DAQ card) can be connected to the
analogue outputs by connecting a resistor across the input terminals of the recorder.
When a 100-Ohm resistor is used, a voltage range of 0–2 V is obtained for a 0–20 mA signal.
NOTICE
Maximum load 500 ohms. The accuracy of the measured voltage depends on the tolerance of the
resistor used.
