License Plate Adjustment:
For
area of the country where vehicles are equipped with front license plate, you may want to adjust the wheels in
a manner that limits damages to the license plate. To do so, you can adjust the maximum end travel of the
secondary arms and limit how far the brush will overlap in the front of the vehicle by adjusting the
POSITIVE STOP
located at the elbow of the brush arm (see Picture #42).
Pic #42 Cross-Over™ Positive Stops
By
moving the positive stop arm to the next mounting hole (see Pictures below), the brush home position moves
away from the center line, allowing an open area in the front of each vehicle, therefore limiting the possibility of
damage to the front license plate.
NOTE:
ADJUSTING THE BRUSHES AWAY FROM THE
FRONT CENTER LINE OF THE VEHICLE WILL ALSO LIMIT THE
CROSSOVER OVERLAPPING IN THE BACK, AND IT MAY REDUCE THE
PORTION OF CLEANING ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE.
