2. Alcohol Disinfection
1)Follow the instructions in section [5] 13. (2) in this manual to open
the lamp cover.
2)Lightly wipe both the coated inside and back of the reflector with
a piece of gauze or other soft material moistened with alcohol.
Do not touch the halogen lamp. Also, do not press
down too hard on the inside coated surface of the
reflector as doing so could cause the coating to
peel off.
(2)Other Parts and Components
Use a piece of gauze or other soft material moistened with alcohol to wipe
other parts and components.
Do not soak up too much alcohol in the gauze.
Wring the gauze out to remove excess alcohol.

CAUTION
Use only disinfects alcohol.
>>Other types of alcohol can cause discoloration or damage the material.
Do not allow alcohol to seep inside the unit. Avoid openings around joints,
shafts and switches. Do not use excessive amounts of alcohol.
>>Otherwise, there is a risk of electrical short-circuiting, and also a risk of
malfunctions,material fatigue and material damage.
Disinfect various components and surfaces by wiping with alcohol before
and after treatment or as frequently as necessary. See the list for compo-
nents and surfaces that should be disinfected by wiping with alcohol.
Refer to section [5]Operation in this manual for how information about how
to detach components for cleaning.
