6)Hand piece Lock
This will disable the selected dentist’s instrument.
Use this if an instrument has been disconnected.
The locked instrument cannot be used and will not respond if it is
picked up.
Each circuit will be indicated by an abbreviate. (Refer to 2)[Date dis-
play])
a)Display the Hand piece lock Menu and press Enter. The input screen
will indicate the cursor key (* mark).
b)Use the Right and Left cursor keys to make the selection, then
press Enter to lock in as a negative image.
Status of Hand piece lock also can get the confir-
mation from Date Display. (Refer to 2) [Date Dis-
play])
c)Repeat step b) above to lock or unlock another hand piece.
Hold down the Enter key for 2 seconds when you
need to cancel the input screen and return to the
Main display.
d)Press Enter and Repeat steps a) and b) above to unlock. The dis-
play will change to a negative image to show the instrument was
unlocked.
7)Initial Reset
This will cancel any changes made and restore the original settings
stored memory(Refer to 9) [User Setting]. This makes it easy to can-
cel multiple new settings simultaneously.
Settings can be stored in memory for each indi-
vidual operator number. Original settings stored in
memory are restored only for the operator number
currently in use. To change settings for other op-
erator, select each of those numbers in turn.

a)Display the Initial Reset Menu and press Enter. The message on the
lower part of the screen will change on the input screen.
b)Press Enter and hold down for 2 seconds to begin resetting of the
instrument.
It is not possible to undo the reset procedure and
return back to the settings that have been can-
celed.
