Using the manual pulse generator, bring the lever type dial
test indicators stylus into contact with the workpiece and
set the scale to “0”.

Using a hex wrench, loosen the 6 hexagon socket head
cap screws securing the headstock sufficiently to enable
adjustment.

Loosen the 2 hexagon socket head cap screws at the base
of the headstock using a hex wrench.
