Front headlight and front position light.
Replacing the bulbs

Bear in mind the following when replacing the front
headlight bulb.
– Use clean gloves when replacing the bulb. Do not
touch the front headlight bulb with your fingertips,
since this could produce hot spots on the bulb and
cause it to break.
– If you touch the bulb with your bare hands, clean it
with a cloth moistened with alcohol to prevent its
early failure.
 Ensure that you replace the dust cover after changing
the front headlight bulb.

The bulb for the front headlight gets very hot when it is
on and remains hot for a while after the front headlight
has been turned off. Ensure that you leave it to cool
before carrying out any maintenance work.

– Remove the housing for the headlight.
– Disconnect the connector.
– Remove the dust cover.
– Press down on the pin.
– Pull out the bulb without turning it
AVISO
Do not touch the bulb. Fingerprints may create hot spots
that cause the bulb to break.
Fit the bulb, while aligning its tabs with the slots on the
front headlight unit.
Hook the bulb pawl in the slot of the front headlight unit.
Firmly replace the dust cover on the headlight.
Install the bulb connector.
Replace the housing for the headlight.
(1) HEADLIGHT POSITION LIGHT
Position light bulb
 Remove the socket without turning.
 Pull out the bulb without turning.
 Install a new bulb and the socket in the reverse order
of removal.
