3. Soll durch den Schalter bzw. durch den Alarm-

meldekontakt der Verstärker auch gleichzeitig
eingeschaltet werden, eine Diode vom Typ
1N4007 nach Abb. 7 zwischen die obere Klemme

6.2.10 Pflichtempfangsrelais

Sind zwischen dem Verstärker und den Lautspre-
chern ELA-Lautstärkeeinsteller mit Pflichtempfangs-
relais (z. B. Serie ATT-3..PEU oder ATT-5..PEU von
MONACOR) geschaltet, können wichtige Durchsa-
gen auch bei eingestellter Laut stärke „Null“ gehört
werden.

1) Dazu ein Tischmikrofon PA-4000PTT oder PA-

4300PTT anschließen (Kap. 6.2.3).

2) Die Pflichtempfangsrelais nach der Abb. 8 an die

Klemmen PRIORITY RELAY OUTPUT (47) an -
schließen. Der Ausgang ist mit 200 mA belastbar.

3) Am Mikrofon den Schalter PRIORITY in die Posi-

tion ON (nach unten) stellen.

4) Beim Betätigen der Sprechtaste TALK werden

jetzt durch die Relais die Lautsprecher auf maxi-
male Lautstärke geschaltet.

6.2.11 Schalter zum ferngesteuerten

Ein-/Ausschalten

Der Verstärker lässt sich mit einem an den Kontak-
ten POWER REM (36) angeschlossenen Schalter
ferngesteuert ein- und ausschalten. Dazu darf der
Verstärker nicht mit dem Schalter POWER (19) ein-
geschaltet oder an einer Notstromversorgung ange-
schlossen sein.

6.2.12 Strom- und Notstromversorgung

1) Zum Schluss das beiliegende Netzkabel zuerst

in die Netzbuchse (35) und dann in eine Steck-
dose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.

2) Soll der Verstärker bei einem eventuellen Netz-

ausfall weiterarbeiten, an die Klemmen 24 V
(37) eine 24-V-Notstrom einheit (z. B. PA-24ESP
von MONACOR) an schließen. Bei einer Kabel -
länge bis zu 6 m ist ein Kabelquerschnitt von
mindestens 4 mm

er forderlich.

Hinweis: Liegt die 24-V-Spannung von der

Notstromeinheit an den Anschlüssen 24 V

an,

lässt sich der Verstärker mit dem Schalter
POWER (19) nicht ausschalten. Er schaltet bei
einem Netzausfall oder im ausgeschalteten
Zustand automatisch auf die Notstromversor-
gung um.

Hinweis:

Auch wenn der Verstärker ausgeschaltet ist, ver-

braucht er einen geringen Strom. Darum den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen und ggf. die Notstromeinheit abklem-
men, wenn der Verstärker längere Zeit nicht betrieben wird.

6.3 Priorität der Eingangssignale festlegen

Allen Eingangssignalen ist eine Priorität zugewie-
sen. Ein Signal mit einer höheren Priorität überdeckt
immer ein Signal mit niedriger Priorität, wenn beide
Signale gleichzeitig am Verstärker anliegen. Signale
mit gleicher Priorität werden gemischt. Die folgende
Tabelle gibt eine Übersicht und zeigt Änderungs-
möglichkeiten.

Werkseinstellung

Das Tischmikrofon PA-4000PTT / PA-4300PTT verwendet
den Eingang 1 und das Kommandomikrofon PA-6000RC
den Eingang 2. Über den zugehörigen DIP-Schalter MIC
PRIORITY (34) können die Mikrofone auch auf 3. Priorität
gestellt werden.

6.2.10 Emergency priority relays

If PA volume adjusting controls with emergency pri-
ority relays (e. g. series ATT-3..PEU or ATT-5..PEU
from MONACOR) are inserted between the amplifier
and the speakers, important announcements can
also be heard with the volume “zero” adjusted.

1) For this purpose connect a desk microphone PA-

4000PTT or PA-4300PTT (chap. 6.2.3).

2) Connect the emergency priority relay according

to fig. 8 to the terminals PRIORITY RELAY OUT-
PUT (47). The output allows a load of 200 mA.

3) Set the switch PRIORITY at the microphone to

position ON (downwards).

4) When actuating the TALK button now the speak-

ers are set to maximum volume by the relays.

6.2.11 Switch for switching on and off

by remote control

The amplifier can be switched on and off by remote
control with a switch connected to the contacts
POWER REM (36). For this purpose the amplifier
must not be switched on with the POWER switch
(19) or be connected to the emergency power sup-
ply.

6.2.12 Power supply and

emergency power supply

1) Finally connect the supplied mains cable to the

mains jack (35) first and then to a socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).

2) For continuous operation of the amplifier in case

of a possible mains failure, connect a 24 V emer-
gency power supply unit (e. g. PA-24ESP from
MONACOR) to the terminals 24 V

(37). With a

cable length of up to 6 m, a cable cross section of
4 mm

is required as a minimum.

Note: If the 24 V voltage from the emergency

power unit is present at the terminals 24 V

, the

amplifier cannot be switched off with the switch
POWER (19). In case of a mains failure or if it is
switched off, it switches automatically to the
emergency power supply.

Note:

Even if the amplifier is switched off, it con sumes a low

power. Therefore, disconnect the mains plug from the socket
and, if necessary, disconnect the emergency power supply
unit if the amplifier will not be in operation for a longer time.

6.3 Defining the priority of the input signals

A priority is assigned to all input signals. A signal of
a higher priority always covers a signal of a lower
priority when both signals are present at the ampli-
fier at the same time. Signals of the same priority are
mixed. The following table gives a survey and shows
possibilities of modification.

Factory setting

The desk microphone PA-4000PTT / PA-4300PTT uses the
input 1 and the zone paging microphone PA-6000RC the
input 2. Via the corresponding DIP switch MIC PRIORITY
(34) the microphones can also be set to 3

priority.
