When accessing an external extended area, the Wait Controller controls the number of wait cycles
to be inserted in the bus cycle by checking the number of wait cycles set in software and those set

by an input signal from the WAIT pin.
The number of wait cycles that can be controlled by software is 1 to 4. (External access incurs at
least one wait cycle which is the shortest bus cycle possible.)

If the WAIT pin input remains low in the last cycle of the internal wait state set by software, the wait
____
cycle is extended. Then when the WAIT pin input is released back high, the wait cycle is terminated
and the next new bus cycle occurs.
