When the INK REMAIN Setting Message is Displayed

If the remaining amount of ink inside the cartridge falls below a specified level when [SET UP] in INK REMAIN of
MACHINE SETUP is set to “ON” (

P.3-31), a warning message appears on the display.

When the message appears, perform the following steps to adjust the ink cartridge weight.
Please prepare your scale (which can weigh up to 1200g in 1g).

Press the

key in LOCAL.

• The slot with the ink cartridge for which you need to register the

weight is selected automatically.

Weigh the ink cartridge on the scale.

• Attach the IC chip and the ink pack when weighing.

3

Press

to enter the weight of cartridge

checked at the Step 2.

4

Press the

key.

5

Check the weight and press the

key.

• If there are other slots for which the weight registration is necessary, each slot is automatically

numbered. Repeat steps 2 to 4.

• If there are no more slots where the weight registration is necessary, you will automatically return to

LOCAL.
