The eGROSS pro-x/eGROSS unit is an ergonomic workstation whose button panel provides for the following
functions:
UP
: the work surface ascends (up to a maximum of 120cm off the ground).
DOWN
: the work surface descends (down to a minimum of 90cm off the ground).
EXHAUST (VENTILATION)
activates/deactivates the ventilation of 2 areas automatically (underneath
and behind the work surface). The waste collection tray is also ventilated (optional, please refer to chapter 5).
When the fan is on in automatic mode, the fan starts when the OPERATOR PRESENCE SENSOR (E)
perceives the presence and remains active for 5 minutes after the operator moves away from the unit. As
shown in the following image, the sensor is placed at the centre of the ventilated surface, in front of the cutting
board and below the keypad. The presence of the operator can be read from a minimum distance of 1cm
(0.4in) up to a maximum of 19cm (7.5in).
When the
Exhaust FAN LED
(
D
) runs, it lights up as explained below.
As soon as it
is on, the “Fault” LED will stay amber colour while the "ventilation obstruction" check is being
carried out, and will turn green after a few seconds.
If during the use of the ventilation, its flow decreases, for example
due to a blockage, the “Fault” LED will turn
amber to warn the user.
The “Fault” amber LED remains on until the difference between the room pressure and the ventilation duct is
at least 1.8 mbar.
Use caution to avoid the risk of crushing hands during the unit's up/down movements.
