Lastly on the CONTROL BUTTON PANEL you can press the "LED" button
to turn on/off:

the main light of the working surface, which corresponds to a high efficiency LED strip positioned above
the ventilation grille.

the LED light of the camera (only in eGROSS pro-x).
Metal objects, such as tweezers and blades, can be attached on the
MAGNETIC BAR
(

).
In the central part of the unit there is the
VENTILATED WORK SURFACE WITH A WASHABLE
COMPARTMENT BELOW (G)
.
The work area is the only marked by
black and white stripes that allows
samples to be cut and photographed
using the camera by placing them on
the blue cutting board (only with the
eGROSS pro-x).
It is recommended to set the ventilation
system to maximum when working
with fixative, and to only set it at
minimum when no work activities are
in progress.
The maximum recommended volume
of fixative is: jar with a 5L capacity containing 3L of fixative.
The jars containing fixative open for the time necessary to handle the sample.
