“Automatic mode” ventilation off:
all LEDs are off.
“Automatic mode” ventilation obstructed:
the Exhaust LED is on (because the
ventilation was turned on), the Fault LED
is amber to indicate that the ventilation is
obstructed.
“Automatic mode” ventilation on correctly:
the Exhaust LED is on (because the
ventilation was turned on), the Fault LED
is not on as the ventilation is not
obstructed.
On the CONTROL PUSH-BUTTON PANEL, you can press the "Manual" button
to force the "ON"
ventilation in manual mode.
This button is active only when the ventilation is on, and therefore, the Exhaust button should be pressed
before pressing "Manual"
.
Once the ventilation has been turned on, pressing the "Manual" button will turn the "Manual" LED on too
(white), as shown below and stays on until it is pressed again.
If the “Fault” LED keeps on staying amber, it is recommended to stop using the workstation.
Check to make sure that there are no obstructions around the fume expulsion pipe and/or
malfunctions in the laboratory's fume extraction system. In case the problem is not
resolved, contact the technical support service.
Working with ventilation in automatic mode, it is NOT necessary to stop the ventilation by
pressing the Exhaust button again
as the operator presence sensor does not allow
the ventilation to start when no one is using the tool.
