Screw the cap of the new container.
The supplied cap has an S55 type threading. If it is not correct for the type of container used, buy an appropriate
adapter.
Adjust the length of the white container's ventilation pipe based on the dimensions of the container itself. An
example is shown in the figure.
The
FIXATIVE DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH PEDAL-CONTROLLED LOADING (J)
is located on the work
surface, above the funnel for draining the fixative.
The loading of the fixative is commanded by the pedal (for its assembly, please refer to chapter 2.3.1). The
fixative leaks through the injector indicated by the circle in the figure below.
In order to use the PC, and therefore the MacroPATH software as well, the unit is equipped with a concealed
waterproof
KEYBOARD
(
L
), which is located in a drawer under the work surface and can be extracted when
needed. The keyboard is only present on the eGROSS pro-x model.
Only load fixative type reagents, like ethanol, Formaldehyde 10% volume/volume (4%
weight/weight), zinc formalin (not chloride), FineFIX, and alcohol-based fixatives.
Unscrew the cap to replace the container when empty, then reposition the cap properly.
