• Use Autosave for any una tt ended event where there is a possibility of a spurious trigger. If this
happens to an una tt ended camera, it is possible that the camera will trigger prematurely. If
Autosave is used, there is a good chance that the camera will have returned back to Record mode
in time
t o capture the planned event.
To set up Autosave :
1. Navigate to the Record Menu
2. Select Autosave.
3. Select Disabled. A dialog box will open to allow
you
to set up Start/Stop frames for downloading (the
Start/Stop times f or the recording are the
defaults), the destin a tion dri v e (mass storage target
for downloads), file type o p tions, an d options f or
naming the downloaded file s
.

4. When finished s e tting up the A ut osave setting
click on the Save bu tt on. When you navigate back
to the System menu the “Disabled” bu tt on will
have turned green and say “Enabled.” The next
bu tt on over will reflect the t arget file name
Note: Autosave will continue r e-arming itself, capturing images and downloading them until the
target drive runs out of space. At this time it will p r ogress to Review mode so the user download
manually to a di ff erent drive or clear space.
4-9 Reviewing Captured Imagery: Playback
Once the recording is complete, if Autosave is not enabled, the TS3 will open the recording in Review
Mode. There are three things to do in Review:
1. Play
the video--play it forward, backward, frame by frame, adjust the cut-in and cut-out points
(find the i n teresting portion of the clip), e tc.
2. Adjust the image brightness, contrast, gamma, bit depth, color, etc. (See “4-10 Image Processing”
on page 32.)
3. Save video to a mass storage device. (See “4-12 Saving Images to Mass Storage” on page 35.)
To Review the video:
In Review Mode there is a series of bu
tt ons on the bo tt om of the display, and a progress bar, very
much like the one used for Record Mode to mark the place in the video currently being viewed .
To enter Review / Play:
1. Either complete a recording, which will automati c ally open Review / Play, or navigate to the
Review Menu and select Play. This will only be available when there is a recording in the TS3
image bu ff er and the camera is not Recording or Saving to storage. When the image bu ff er
is empty the Review Menu text will be grayed and the menu items are not accessible.
2. Use the Playback Bu tt ons or touch-enabled slider to move through the imagery. The Status Bar
will reflect the r ecord frame rate (FPS), the playback speed, current frame number, frame
tim e (relati v e to the trigger), and the Cut-In and Cut-Out points.
