Using IEEE802.1X (Wired LAN)
The machine supports IEEE802.1X authentication. IEEE802.1X authentication is performed
after enabling it on the Web page and connecting to the authentication switch.

Using EAP-TLS
This section describes how to set EAP-TLS, which is a type of IEEE802.1X authentication.

Open the Web page of this machine.

Log in as the administrator.

Select [Admin Setup].

Select [Network] > [IEEE802.1X].

Select [Enabled] for [IEEE802.1X].

Select [EAP-TLS] in [EAP Type].

Enter the user name in [EAP User].

Select [Do not use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication], and click [Import].

Enter the file name of the certificate.
Only PKCS#12 files can be imported.

Enter the certificate password, and click [OK].

Select [Authenticate Server], and click [Import].

Enter the file name of the CA certificate, and click [OK].
Specify the certificate of the certificate authority (CA) used for the RADIUS server
authentication. PEM, DER, and KCS#7 files can be imported.

Click [Submit].
The new setting is enabled after the network function of the machine is restarted.

Turn off the machine when it becomes online.

Remove the LAN cable from the machine.
