real time and to save FAX pictures to disk. FAX pictures saved on disk can be
recalled for viewing on the screen at any time.
MFJ terminal programs which support 2-level FAX receiving operation are as
follows:
1.
MFJ-1284 for IBM PC and compatibles in 5-1/4" disk.
2. MFJ-1284M same as above but in 3-1/2" disk.
3. MFJ-1287 for Apple Macintosh computer.
4. MFJ-1282 for Commodore C-64 and C-128 in 5-1/4"disk.
If you are using one of the above terminal programs which supports 2-level FAX
operation you should follow the instruction given by the terminal program
to receive FAX.
FAX FREQUENCY
FAX transmitting stations are usually found on the HF bands.Weather FAX
stations are generally upper sideband. Some of these stations maintain a regular
schedule. The following table lists the frequencies of some FAX stations.
