Notes:
a) If the alarm has been cancelled with the CLEAR ALARM OUTPUTS option from the MAIN
SET-UP menu, the alarm is still indicated on the front panel indicators and in the
performance statistics.
b) The alarm responses corresponding to the alarms are:
c) A single ATM UNI FAULT front panel light which is illuminated by either Major or Minor
alarms serves the UNI port of the DSU.
d) Two front panel fault lights serve the LINE port of the DSU. These are labelled LINE
MAJOR and LINE MINOR.
e) When testing, the Line status takes priority over the ATM status if tests are being run on
both ports.
f) The indicator lights always use the alarm default settings (Major, Minor) even if the ALARM
EXTENSION settings have been re-set.
