CONFIGURING THE ATM CBR DSU

Step 6: ATM Set-up menu

HCS COSET, PAYLOAD SCRAMBLING:

Make sure that these parameters are compatible with the configuration of the network
attached to the ATM UNI interface.

Step 7: Bandwidth management

The DSU contains a 128-cell bi-directional FIFO. This acts as a small overflow buffer
between the two traffic streams to compensate for any delays in onward transmission.
