Description of Functions

Function

Permissions

Description

Connection Validation Settings include toggling between the
temperature displayed in either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit
and toggling the connection validation sound on/off.

Connection Validation Graph button toggles between Net Power Meter
(featured on previous page) and the Power Graph screen. The graph
displays the amount of power (in watts) used over a given time period
(in seconds.) Information displayed includes number of joints soldered
with installed cartridge, peak power usage, current temperature,
cartridge serial number and cartridge lot code (see example below.)

The graph must be toggled on by an engineer or admin, prior to a
profile being run by an operator.

Toggle On/Off radio frequency (RF) current for Connection Validation.
Essentially this will turn the turn the iron on, enabling it for soldering or
put the iron to “sleep mode” when in the off position.
