1.2. Once the Tip Cleaning Settings is activated, the following menu will appear:
Function Permissions Description
This function opens the profile directory to allow user to select desired
Tip Cleaning Profile.
WARNING: Do NOT select a Solder Profile for a
TCP as this will lead to undesired results and potential damage to the
unit.
Solder Point Clean Frequency establishes the number of joints the
robot will solder before heading to the cleaning zone to execute the
TCP.
Solder Point Clean Frequency establishes the number of lines the
robot will solder before heading to the cleaning zone to execute the
TCP.
This function allows for the user to establish the start location of the
TCP. The start location can be established at any point within the
working envelope 400mm x 400mm x 100mm x 300° (X, Y, Z, Θ). The
coordinates of the current TCP start location are displayed directly
beneath the icon.
Establishes length of solder that is to be retracted back into feeder tube
during tip cleaning. Depending on the position of the feeder tube
relative to the solder tip, the length of solder exposed can vary.
Exposed solder can be repositioned during the cleaning zone;
therefore, it is ideal to program length of solder to fully retract into
feeder tube during solder cleaning.
