15. Once in position, loosen the thumb screw and remove the Center Point Tool Assembly from the

unit and return to 0° using

15.1. Although not required, it is good practice to record the X & Y position values on a piece of

paper so that in the event the robot needs to be homed, there will be no need to realign the
alignment pin. The X & Y values can be entered in the Absolute Move feature and the robot
will return to the previously aligned location.

16.

Carefully

jog the end effector down in the Z-Axis until the tip is around 5mm away from the fixture.

Then slide the Calibration Fixture vertically until it contacts the solder tip.

16.1. Once contact has been made, lock in place by rotating the thumb screw clockwise

underneath slide bar.
