Power and Data Cables
The machine has two power cables and two data cables that connect the
vehicle to the indexer assembly. The two power cables provide power to
the heater and facer assemblies. The data cables provide communications
for the indexer and facer assemblies.
The cables from the vehicle connect to the indexer assembly at the
electrical box adjacent to the power pack. These 4 cables must be
connected for the machine to operate.

Overview
Heater Stripper Cylinders
The carriage jaws are equipped with heater stripper cylinders that push
the heater away from the pipe so the heater can be raised out of the
carriage after the heating operation. The machine is equipped with
stripper cylinders in both fusion zones.
