Examine the open circuit in
water in fuel sensor signal wire
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify

STEP 5

Ignition OFF
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector (C4) DISCONNECTED
Water in fuel sensor wiring
harness connector (C38)
DISCONNECTED

Check the continuity between
pin 2 of the water in fuel sensor
wiring harness connector and
battery ground
