Replace EMS ECU with a new
one.
Check and verify for any new
DTC’s
STEP 5
Ignition OFF
Crankshaft speed sensor wiring
harness connector (C37)
DISCONNECTED
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector (C4) DISCONNECTED
Check the continuity between
pin 1 of the crankshaft speed
sensor wiring harness
connector and pin 52 of the
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector
Check the continuity between
pin 2 of the crankshaft speed
sensor wiring harness
connector and pin 74 of the
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector
Examine the open circuit of
crankshaft speed sensor signal
wires
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify
Ignition OFF
Crankshaft speed sensor wiring
harness connector (C37)
DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 1 and pin 2 of the
crankshaft speed sensor
Is the value =
890±10
Ω
?
Suspect internal failure of
crankshaft speed sensor
Replace the crank shaft speed
sensor
Clear the DTC and verify
